Day 1

Pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza by Best Destination Tours guide and transfer by Private A/C Vehicle to Alexandria, which is 220 k/m away from Cairo. On the way, you can explore Egypt trips that offer an exciting preview of the surrounding areas. Arrive in Alexandria around 10 am and start your day tour there, visiting The Roman Theater (a theater with marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, a section of mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths). Then, a visit to The Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa (tombs on three levels, also containing the Tri-cilium where relatives used to sit on stone benches to feast the dead, a center with reliefs of bearded serpents; inside are 2nd Century AD statues of Sobek and Anubis wearing Roman armor). Afterward, enjoy a visit to the Alexandria Library & also, from outside, you will visit Qaitbay Citadel and El Mursi Abu Elabas, where you can have a free walk on the Cornish. Lunch is included in between visits at local restaurants based on a full meal for each person, but beverages are not included. The tour finishes with a drop-off at your hotel in Cairo, and you will be back in Cairo around 6:00 pm. Tours from Cairo can offer you more unforgettable experiences across Egypt.
