Itinerary

Day 1

Start your very first day with tours in Egypt by meeting a tour guide from Best Destinations Tours at Luxor Airport, the railway station, or any hotel situated within Luxor. You will then be driven in a van with air conditioning systems to board your Nile cruise, as part of a 5-day classic Nile cruise package from Luxor to Aswan.

While on board the Nile cruise, a buffet lunch will be served, after which an East Bank tour of Luxor will be taken. Your tour guide will take you to the stunning Karnak Temple, the great temple of the Theban triad, Amun Ra, the sun god, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, the moon god. Later, you will go visit the amazing Luxor Temple, one of the most grandly constructed temples during the New Kingdom period, along the East Bank of the historical river.

Enjoy dinner that will be served on your Nile cruise ship while watching one of the entertaining shows or views outside.

You will overnight in the city of Luxor.

Day 2

At the start of the trip, you will be welcomed with a buffet breakfast. After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist driver and make your way to the Luxor West Bank starting from the Valley of the Kings. While there, you will be given an extensive overview of the royal tombs in ancient Egypt before going to see the Temple of Hatshepsut (also known as El Dier El Bahari) and the magnificent Colossi of Memnon, King Amenhotep III statues. This experience is part of our Egypt classic packages, offering a perfect blend of history and luxury.

At the end of the trip, your Egyptologist guide will take you to the Nile Cruise in time for lunch on board, and soon after lunch, the boat will go to Edfu.

After dinner at night, Edfu will be your next accommodation.

Day 3

So this morning, you will start your Egypt tour with an American-style breakfast of fresh healthy ingredients on the Nile River cruise ship. After, a Best Destinations Tours representative will take you to the Temple of Edfu, and we will learn about the Falcon-headed Horus, who was the God of kingship and is depicted as a great winged hawk. Thereafter, the boat will start sailing towards Aswan.

Lunch will be served on the sails of the cruise ship before reaching Aswan, but on the way to the historic town of Kom Ombo. Upon coming out, you will be made to meet a certified tour guide who will take you inside the Kom Ombo Temple, which is dedicated to the ancient Egyptian crocodile gods Sobek and Haroeris. After which you shall continue the sailing journey to Aswan.

Dinner will be available on board and a Nubian show will subsequently be held.

Day 4

Your open buffet breakfast will be served on the cruise boat, and you will start your day with Aswan tours from Luxor; your first visit will be to the famous High Dam in Aswan.
