Day 1
Arrival at Athens airport. Welcome assistance and private transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
After you are settled in your room, you may follow an optional tour/cruise. You may check the full list of our optional tours/cruises here.
Day 2
After breakfast, the day starts with a half-day tour dedicated to exploring the city of Athens.
This half-day tour departs with a panoramic tour to the most important monuments and landmarks of the city of Athens, including the Panathinaikon stadium, the Zappeion, the temple of Olympian Zeus, Syntagma Square, the Parliament, the tomb of the unknown soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the old Parliament.
We continue our guided visit to the "Sacred Rock" of the Acropolis to admire the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea & the Temple of Athena Nike.
Our tour ends with a visit to the new, spectacular Acropolis Museum. A marvel of architecture with a full exhibition of the glory of Ancient Athens. The museum is also voted one of the best museums in the world.
Transfer to your hotel or explore Plaka, the picturesque old part of the city, and, why not, do some shopping at Ermou Street.
Day 3
After our breakfast, we depart northwards towards Delphi, which used to be the most sacred place in the world and a pilgrimage center for many centuries in antiquity. You will admire the Sanctuary of Apollo, walk the Sacred way, and visit the temple of Apollo, home of Pythia (the oracle). In the afternoon, and after a short break for lunch (not included), we will be crossing the mountains of central Greece to arrive in Kalambaka for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
This morning we will be visiting Meteora. Amazing rock formations, like towers of sandstone, stand ageless and have provided a sacred retreat for monks over the centuries. A number of monasteries are hidden on top of Meteora. The view over the plain is breathtaking. Meteora is considered among the most beautiful areas of mainland Greece and belongs to UNESCO's list of world heritage monuments. After our visit, we will take the road back to Athens. On the way, we will make a short stop at Thermopylae to admire the statue of Leonidas, king of Sparta. Overnight in Athens.
Day 5
In the morning, we will be transferred to the port of Piraeus to catch the local ferry to Santorini. Arrival in Santorini in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure to explore the island or for an optional tour.
Day 6
At leisure to explore the magical island of Santorini. Discover Fira & Oia with the breathtaking views of the volcano, and enjoy one of the best sunsets in the Aegean.
Our suggestions for the island are the following:

Visit Oia to enjoy the famous sunset
Take a half-day or full-day cruise to the volcano and to the hot springs for swimming

Day 7
Breakfast and at the appropriate time, transfer to the airport or to the port. This transfer is the final of our services for this organised trip.? Kindly let us know if you want us to book you the return air/ferry tickets to Athens so we can add this to the final total cost.
The domestic flight Santorini/Athens lands at the same airport as your international flight, and you may continue your flight home.
The ferries arrives at piraeus port, and we can add a transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Another option is to stay overnight in Athens and transfer you the next day ( 10th) to the airport.
